To confirm that the slow, controlled release of granular PRECISE Acephate works for a long time, research was conducted on container-grown nursery crops. Replicated studies showed that PRECISE Acephate was still active in those plants for up to 176 days after application—that’s over five months of activity!
This chart shows the longevity of PRECISE Acephate Greenhouse and Nursery Systemic Insecticide when applied in the spring as a topdressing. Treatments were 12 grams of product per three-gallon container (1X rate) and 24 grams of product per three-gallon container (2X rate). The plant tissue samples were then analyzed for acephate concentrations.
